Why Vietnam? Reflecting the spread of our hubs, we wanted to ensure our flagship event is held on every continent where Sandbox has active hubs. There has been quite some effort behind the scenes in the last few years to bring the Summit to Asia; so when this opportunity showed up, we happily embraced it. And then also - Vietnam is just beautiful.
Welcome to Vietnam, a country full of surprises and diversity, located in Southeast Asia. Get ready to immerse yourself in its breathtaking natural beauty, from sandy beaches to towering limestone islands. Vietnam’s coastline stretches over 3,000 kilometers, with destinations like Nha Trang, Da Nang, and Phu Quoc Island, where you can relax or have an adventure in the water.
Vietnam's history and culture are reflected in its temples, pagodas, and historical sites. The ancient city of Hoi An boasts traditional lantern-lined streets and well-preserved buildings, while the Cu Chi Tunnels near Ho Chi Minh City offer insight into our recent past as a strategic base for the Viet Cong during the Vietnam War. Getting excited about that post-summit trip?
One of the highlights of your visit to Vietnam will be experiencing its diverse and delicious cuisine. The food is a blend of flavours and textures from different regions, with influences from China, France, and Thailand. Don't miss out on the famous pho noodle soup, banh mi sandwiches, fresh spring rolls, and other regional specialties. The Summit is going to showcase a variety of regional dishes which no doubt is going to excite your taste buds.
